Ender 3 Pro - My Setup

In case anyone is interested, I’m sharing the details of my setup.

I’m running two Ender 3 Pro at the moment, almost permanently printing, affectionately called Luke and Darth. Darth was the first printer I bought, and destroyed the controller board installing the BLTouch upgrade. More details on this in the upgrades post.

Darth

Darth, on the right in the picture above:

• Creality Ender 3 Pro (2022)
• Replaced controller board with Creality 4.2.7 silent board (because the original board was fried installing the BLTouch)
• BLTouch
• Creality Touchscreen (a mistake)
• Replaced the bed levelling spring and dials
• Raspberry Pi 3B with Pi Camera running OctoPrint
• Creality glass print bed

Luke

Luke, my latest addition I bought due to an insane sale price, on the left:

• Creality Ender 3 Pro (2022)
• Original 4.2.2 controller board
• BLTouch
• Replaced the bed levelling spring and dials
• Raspberry Pi 3B with Pi Camera running OctoPrint
• Stock screen
• Stock print bed (magnetic flexible surface)
